Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed October 13, 2026

Kerov Health wants every family to be able to use www.kerovhealth.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions or other assistive technology. Many of the people we serve live with attention, sensory or anxiety differences, and we have built the site with them in mind.

Our standard

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act guidance for websites. We treat it as a working standard, not a one-time checklist: every new page is checked against it before it is published.

What we have done

  • Structure. Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate by heading and by region. A “Skip to content” link is the first item on every page.
  • Keyboard. Everything that can be clicked can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Images. Every image has a text description. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Contrast and text. Text and interactive elements meet the contrast ratios the standard requires. Text can be resized to 200% in the browser without loss of content, and the layout adapts to any screen width without sideways scrolling.
  • Motion. The looping videos and reveal animations stop when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on, and every video has a pause button. Nothing on the site flashes.
  • Video. The brain-mapping video is accompanied on the same page by a written, step-by-step description of what it shows, and the looping videos carry no speech. The Golf Channel segment uses YouTube’s captions.
  • Forms and buttons. Buttons and links say what they do in words, not only with icons. The quiz works with a keyboard and announces its result.
  • Plain language. We write for parents and clients, not for clinicians, and we explain clinical terms the first time they appear.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site come from other providers, and we cannot change how they are built.

  • The appointment scheduler is provided by HoneyBook inside an embedded window. If it is difficult to use with your assistive technology, call (407) 708-3200 or email hello@kerovhealth.com and we will book the consult for you.
  • The YouTube video player follows YouTube’s own accessibility features.
  • PDF documents in our resources section — two ADHD articles and three team biographies — were produced outside this site and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide the content of any of them in an accessible format on request.
  • Blog posts carried over from our previous website have been checked for headings and image descriptions, but a few older images carry general rather than detailed descriptions. We are improving these as we review each post.

Need help or a different format?

If any part of this site is hard to use, or you would like any information in a different format — large print, plain text, a phone call or a video call — contact us and we will provide it. We also welcome reports of anything that does not work with your assistive technology; please tell us the page and what happened.

We respond to accessibility requests within five business days, and sooner when the request concerns booking an appointment.

In our office

Our Lake Mary office is on an accessible floor with step-free entry. A brain map and every consult can also be done without visiting: consults by video call or phone, and brain mapping with a cap we ship to you and record remotely. Tell us what would make your visit easier and we will arrange it.

How we check

We test with keyboard-only navigation, with browser zoom, with the reduce-motion setting on, and with screen readers on Windows, macOS and iOS, alongside automated checks run on every build. This statement is reviewed whenever the site changes substantially and at least once a year.
